Look its a baby!
Yesterday the doctor's office offered a 3-D ultrasound. No need for special glasses but here is Squirmy's face (yes that's our nickname for the baby), just like a regular picture! Can you find the nose? (Sorry about the placenta that's in the way).

Who doesn't love a fair?
I'm so proud of Jeff for all the work he does, and especially now with this most recent trophy from his professional career in politics. They bagged the butter cow lady! Iowa primary politics are awesome and that these are considered an important part of a campaign for President of the United States, is something that the founders of democracy I'm sure would be proud of - you go Iowa!

A Darwinian Experiment...
...that will probably go horribly wrong. Well it's planting time in Illinois and most of the garden is in. We like to pretend that we live on a farm and have more space than we actually do trying to grow corn, zucchini, strawberries, cucumbers, red peppers, green peppers, broccoli, yellow and red heirloom tomatoes, carrots, onions, sugar snap peas, basil, chives, rosemary, oregano, and lavender in two plots. But what is really going to get us into trouble is the pumpkin patch. I disposed of some decorative gords in the fall back in the patch and they have erupted. Then we planted a Blue Hungarian variety, Prize winning Jack'o Lanterns, and here's the doozey - a seed that should produce a 300lb pumpkin. Did I mention the raspberry bush and butternut squash are also back there? Pictures will come later in the season when the vines begin to take over the entire yard.

hello Universe?
I do not think that Stan and I have anything that is worth posting at the moment. Or anything significant that others would consider worth their time to read, but we will keep this blog url and claim this small little spot on the world wide web so that in the event something does happen to us we can let the world know.
